History and Heritage
Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall has a Heritage officer who works 14 hours a week. In 2011 there will be 3 Heritage Festivals, one being a bigger, better Hallowmas Festival at Halloween. See pictures from our 2010 Hallowmas Festival here.
Our first project was to create a set of information boards which are on permanent display in the small downstairs Hall. They detail the story of the Town of Kirton in Lindsey and its' Diamond Jubilee Town Hall. Thanks to Philip Greenfield Graphic Design Services for the design of the boards. Please click on the links below and the display panels will open up in a new window.
See why the Hall was built in 1897. It was a huge event for the Town and a symbol of hope for the future.
